1Point1 Bangalore champions women empowerment with the Child Care Foundation

Our 1Point1 center in Bangalore has taken a significant step toward promoting gender equality and empowering women by organizing a Women Empowerment initiative in collaboration with the Child Care Foundation. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5, which emphasizes achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls.

The primary aim of this activity was to create a positive impact on the lives of women by offering them job opportunities tailored to their skills and needs. The outreach program targeted female candidates, providing them with the necessary resources and support to secure meaningful employment. The initiative has already shown promising results, with several women now employed and making valuable contributions to their communities.

The success of this initiative is a testament to the collaborative efforts of 12 dedicated volunteers from 1Point1 and 8 passionate volunteers from the Child Care Foundation. Together, they worked tirelessly to ensure that the program met its objectives and created a lasting impact. The initiative not only provided job opportunities but also fostered an environment of inclusivity and support within the workplace.

1Point1 is committed to continuing this important work, with plans to expand the program to reach even more women in the future.
